November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election<\/h3>\n

The electors of the Town of Southwest Ranches, Florida, are hereby notified on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 there will be a General Municipal Election for the purpose of electing members to the Town Council for Town Council Districts 1 and 2.<\/p>\n

Standardized candidate forms and election publications are available for download at the\u00a0Florida Division of Elections<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n

Code of Ordinances – Section 070-110 – Temporary Signs<\/a><\/p>\n

Qualifying papers can be picked up in the Office of the Town Clerk. The qualifying period commences June 8, 2026 (Noon) until June 12, 2026 (Noon).<\/p>\n

All qualified electors for the Town of Southwest Ranches whose names appear on the registration books of the Broward County Supervisor of Elections will be eligible to vote in said election, at the polling location designated by the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.<\/p>\n

Vote-By-Mail Ballots for the Town of Southwest Ranches, Florida, General Municipal Election may be requested from the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office, by selecting this link: VOTE-BY-MAIL REQUEST<\/a> . For more information of Vote-By-Mail Ballots, please call\u00a0954-357-7050. All absentee ballots must be returned no later than 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.<\/p>\n

The aforesaid election, qualifying of candidates, voters registration and Vote-By-Mail ballots shall be conducted and handled in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.<\/p>\n

The duly elected Council Members shall each serve a four-year term commencing at the next regular scheduled Council meeting after the general election.<\/p>\n
