Building Permitting and Inspections<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Building Permit and Inspection Services for the Town of Southwest Ranches are provided by CAP Government, Inc.<\/strong> CAP Government<\/strong> has staff available in Town Hall with office hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, (closed between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm for lunch). You may also contact CAP Government<\/strong> at 954-434-0008 – Option 1 (Building Department), or email at swrinspections@southwestranches.org<\/a> \u00a0if you have questions or need assistance.<\/p>\n

Southwest Ranches and CAP Government receives, reviews and approves all building permit applications and building plans in an electronic format with an on-line portal. Instructions and links to the on-line portal are provided on this webpage.<\/p>\n

Paper applications and building plans will not be needed for your permit. In addition, you will not need to come into Town Hall or stand in-line to submit your permit application or receive approvals. All application documents are uploaded to the CAP on-line portal from your home or office. You will receive application and building plan comments and approvals with email notifications and with permit information posted on the Town\u2019s website. Inspection requests will be completed by email or in person. Payments can be made during normal business hours by cash, check payable to the Town, or credit card (maximum transaction amount of $5,000).<\/p>\n

All building permit application packages must include the Broward County Uniform Building Permit Application* and a Notice of Commencement* as well as the applicable forms needed for specific permit types (links provided below).
