The Town of Southwest Ranches purchased the property in 2004 for preservation of open space and for development of outdoor recreational amenities.<\/p>\n<p>Currently open to the public are: parking, playground, restroom, a picnic shelter available for rental, a basketball goal for practice, and a multi-use field that can host incidental use for baseball\/softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and other sports. No permits are given or required for occasional use of this field. The Town hosts organized Youth Sports on Saturdays operated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southwestranches.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/SW-Ranches-Flyer-for-2025-Winter-Season.pdf\">i9 Sports<\/a>\u00a0with programs for soccer and flag football.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/RESO-2016-067-CEFH-Approved-applicalbe-tax-191120.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Country Estates Park Policy and Rental Fee Schedule<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Design of further amenities includes a fishing pond and pier, as well as equestrian and multi-use recreational facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Country Estates Park, also known as \u201cFishing Hole\u201d Park serves local residents as well as visitors from other places.
